Well it is time for us to relax this weekend and enjoy an extra day off. I’II bet it is not too often Family Day is observed with such great weather. Every day of plus temperatures is one less day of winter. It was interesting on the weekend to see the raging blizzards in the eastern provinces while we were out and about with a spring jacket on. I better quit talking about it before Old Man Winter decides to shut me up.
I was thinking though, this would be a good year to own a car wash. They are getting an extra season out of this break in the weather.

It was recently announced the Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships will be held in Alberta. This is the first time they have been held outside of Quebec. The Rocky Mountain Show Jumping facility across from Sirocco Golf Club will host the jumping events and the Okotoks Agricultural Society will host the reining events. This is fantastic news for the horse enthusiasts in the province. Way to go Okotoks and area.

An older lady called the newspaper office in her city to demand why her Sunday paper had not been delivered. The employee explained to the lady it was Saturday and the paper would be there in the morning. The lady said, “that explains why I was the only one at church this morning.”
