Dear Editor,
It is not yet two months into the school year, and the students at Foothill Comp have successfully spread huge amounts of garbage around the surrounding neighbourhood, the worst areas being the parking lot for the school as well as the parking lot and walking path on the west side of the school.
An email sent to the principal inquiring as to what the school is doing in regard to the problem resulted in a reply indicating she wished to talk to me, and the reply I sent with contact information went unanswered.
The problem has existed since I moved here with no end in sight, and apparently no concern shown by school management or the parents of the students, who cannot help but notice if they live in Okotoks.
Sad example to be set by the students, management of the school and the parents of the students.
Those of us that don't have kids in this school are left to clean up around our area, many of them seniors, and can ill afford the time or effort to clean up after them.
