A Service and Act of Remembrance was held in Diamond Valley on Nov. 11.

The service, at Oilfields School, was put on by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 78 Turner Valley.

Hymns and prayers were recited, and there was a reading of In Flanders Fields, a poem by John McCrae, before the Last Post was played.

Bagpipers played, as well as the concert band from the Foothills Music Society.
