Project Green Day, a community clean-up scheduled for tomorrow (May 25) in Diamond Valley, has been cancelled.
The decision is due to weather and the potential for unsafe conditions, the Town of Diamond Valley said.
"The rain has made some areas unsafe to access, and it may be too challenging to pick up garbage," the Town said.
The annual community cleanup was scheduled to take place beginning at 9 a.m.
There is no word on whether the cleanup will be rescheduled.
