This weekend’s Priddis & Millarville Fair is promising ‘Country Fun for Everyone.’
The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today (Saturday, Aug. 17) and tomorrow (Sunday, Aug. 18) at the Millarville Racetrack.
Admission is free.
The fair celebrates the area’s rich agricultural history and brings the community together for a weekend jam-packed with activities.
There will be farm animal displays, a wide range of exhibits, antique autos and tractors, and plenty of competitions, including pie and watermelon eating contests.
There will also be agricultural-themed competitions involving sheep, cattle, horses and llamas as well as the always-popular rooster crowing contest.
Crowds will cheer on participants in the tractor pull and Farm Strong Games, which will feature a hay bale toss and tug of war.
The weekly Millarville Farmers’ Market will take place on Saturday, while a specialty market is on Sunday’s calendar.
