A 42-year-old Carstairs man reported missing after leaving his Cochrane workplace on March 22 has been found deceased, say police.
Brian Richard Wood was found in the Burnt Timber area near Cremona. The man’s family was notified of his death on March 26.
Didsbury RCMP had issued a release on March 24 asking for the public's help in locating the man.
His death is not suspicious and the case is now closed, Didsbury RCMP Cpl. Derek Howes said Tuesday.
His family confirmed that he was a longtime Carstairs resident who worked in Cochrane.
