Canadian fast food icon Tim Hortons began back in 1964 when hockey legend Tim Horton opened his Tim Horton Donut Shop in Hamilton, Ontario.
Back then, donuts were a mere 10 cents apiece, but these days you can't do much of anything with a single dime.
In order to give Canadians something sweet amidst a challenging year, Timmies has teamed up with UberEats for a one-day price rollback promo.
Participating Tim Hortons locations will have six-packs of assorted donuts available at the 1964 price of 60 cents (plus taxes and fees) while supplies last on Thursday, Nov. 26.
The donut deal is only available to order exclusively through the UberEats delivery app.
UberEats says their company plans to partner with other Canadian restaurants for special promos featuring throwback menu items (at their throwback prices) from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. (What are the chances that includes McPizza? We'll have to wait and see!)
