Foothills County is a vibrant and thriving municipality located south of the City
of Calgary encompassing a vibrant rural landscape. Foothills County is inviting
applications for a Bridge Inspector to join our team.

The Bridge Inspector is responsible for inspection, recording, reporting, and
recommendations of all Alberta Transportation registered bridges within the
Foothills County as well as the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of traffic
signage and installation and recording of traffic counts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold an Alberta Bridge inspection and training certificate.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of related experience; a Diploma in a related
field would be considered an asset.

• Must be competent in various software applications
(CAD, Excel, Word, ARC View).

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.

• Alberta Municipal Health and Safety Association training would be
considered an asset.

• First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.
