Free Skilled Trades Training - Machining for Newcomers


Skilled Trades and Language Training and Settlement Services are partnering to offer a free 10-week Machining Program for newcomers.

This FREE program is suitable for Permanent Residents or Convention Refugees who have achieved Canadian Language Benchmark Level 6+ and are interested in working in the manufacturing industry or working as a machinist. This program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Program Details:
Start date: September 16, 2024
Program length: (10 Weeks) - 30 hours/week
Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm / full time in Burlington

This program is right for you if...
You are a Permanent Resident or Convention Refugee
You have achieved a Canadian Language Benchmark Level 6+
You are interested in working in the manufacturing industry
