We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of our filtration products across various industries, including industrial, automotive, powersports, marine, power generation, and more. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing technical expertise, and achieving our sales objectives.
Duties & Functions:
• Develop and execute sales plans accordingly to meet performance expectations and requirements.
• Technical expert of products and processes related to product additions.
• Must be a team player and supportive of co-workers.
• Quote products and negotiate correct required pricing.
• Build relationships with customers to enhance long-term business prospects and development partnerships.
• Canvas the market to gain insight and adjust to ever changing pricing and delivery requirements. Communicate findings to leadership team.
• Work with the marketing department to help identify, verify, and pursue development of new market or product opportunities. Assist with the development and distribution of weekly news and/or marketing letters.
• Provide forecast data to logistics and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted product flows to customers.
• Establish and maintain effective communication flow throughout the commercial team and to other departments. Assist team to develop a coordinated sales effort while keeping management informed.
• Work closely to support e-commerce initiatives of the company.
• The above responsibilities and other duties as required will be a key part of this position.
Qualifications:
• Must be legally authorized to enter United States for sales calls.
• An understanding of nomenclature.
• Strong Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Minimum 5 years sales experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
