Okotoks Mayor Tanya Thorn held her first-ever Christmas Storytime event at the Okotoks Public Library on Dec. 21.
"This is a fun part of my job, getting out and just engaging with the youth of our community," said Thorn.
Young Okotokians gathered around a virtual fire to hear from Mayor Thorn, followed by a variety of crafts and fun activities.
"That's why we do the job that we do, building for the future of our kids, so it's always awesome to come out," said Thorn.
