The Town has confirmed that a bobcat was spotted this morning in Okotoks.
The bobcat was seen in the Drake Landing Point area. Fish and Wildlife has been notified and is monitoring the animal’s activity, the Town said in a social media post on Oct. 4.
The Town is reminding residents to keep pets on a leash and not leave them unattended in backyards.
Bobcats don’t pose a risk to people unless they feel threatened, the Town said.
