Light Up Okotoks is still more than a week away, but online registration begins today for the popular wagon rides offered during the annual holiday festival.
Set for Olde Towne Okotoks on the evening of Friday, Nov. 22, Light Up Okotoks includes all kinds of activities, from entertainment to the lighting of the community Christmas tree to a fireworks show. One of the most popular activities is the horse-drawn wagon rides.
Starting on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Town of Okotoks will open one wagon ride time slot each day for booking until Nov. 20.
Bookings will be made through Showpass. A link can be found at okotoks.ca/lightup.
The wagon ride booking schedule is as follows:
6:00 p.m. - Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m.
6:20 p.m. - Thursday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m.
6:40 p.m. - Friday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m.
7:00 p.m. - Saturday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m.
7:20 p.m. - Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m.
7:40 p.m. - Monday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m.
8:00 p.m. - Tuesday, Nov .19 at 9 a.m.
8:20 p.m. - Wednesday, Nov. 20 at noon
Two wagons will also be available for walk-ups on a first come, first serve basis.
