Residents and visitors to downtown Okotoks will see parking impacted by construction on Daggett Street.
The Town of Okotoks' Daggett Street parking improvement project, along the CPKC railway, is set to start on Monday, July 16 and expected to be completed by the end of August, weather permitting.
The construction will include parking area paving, fencing, electronic vehicle charging infrastructure, as well as landscaping.
During construction, there will be no parking along Daggett Street; alternative parking will be available at the gravel lot on the south side of the railway track.
The road will remain open but please expect traffic delays as only single lane alternating traffic will be available.
The Town release adds that it’s important to watch for signage, crews, flaggers and equipment and use caution while in the area and thanks everyone in advance for patience and cooperation.
