Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools (CTR) says the results of an annual education survey show continued excellence in education.

Alberta Education’s 2023-24 Assurance survey gave CTR high marks in academic excellence, community satisfaction, student support and parental involvement, among other metrics, the division said.

Academically, CTR exceeded the provincial average in all required measures and improved in exam scores. Over 93 per cent of students, parents and teachers said they are happy with the quality of education provided by schools in the division.

CTR exceeded the provincial average in other categories, like student support, parental involvement, and in several graduation and post-secondary metrics.

Superintendent Dr. Andrea Holowka said Christ the Redeemer shows strong academic excellence in supportive classrooms.

“The increase in our already strong results is a testament to the commitment of our teachers to supporting student success,” Holowka said.

CTR operates schools in High River, Okotoks and DeWinton, and in other communities, including Canmore, Drumheller and Strathmore, with over 10,000 students enrolled across the division.
