Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Okotoks and surrounding areas.
The forecast calls for periods of snow during the day today with 2 cm accumulation.
The temperature is expected to fall to -2C this afternoon with a wind chill of –8C.
Between five and 10 cm of snow is expected to fall tonight with a low of –8C.
More snow is in the forecast for tomorrow with accumulations up to 2 cm.
Following a chance of flurries tomorrow night, the precipitation is expected to pass but temperatures will remain well below seasonal with a high of –7C on Wednesday and –6C on both Thursday and Friday.
