Firefighters pulled one person from a house fire this afternoon in Okotoks.
The house fire on Maple Street was reported at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 18.
One person was reported as being trapped inside with smoke coming from the home, and was rescued by firefighters at approximately 2:45 p.m.
The adult patient was transported to hospital in non-life-threatening condition, EMS said.
Firefighters said the fire was brought under control at 2:53 p.m. and they remain on scene.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
