Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Okotoks and surrounding areas.
Environment Canada says dense fog with near zero visibility will lift this afternoon.
In the meantime, travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
If visibility is reduced drivers are encouraged to slow down, watch for taillights ahead and be prepared to stop.
Sunny skies are in the forecast for the next couple of days with highs of 5C tomorrow and 8C on Friday.
The long-range forecast shows a chance of flurries on Saturday night and periods of snow on Sunday.
