Okotoks' newest grocery store is opening next week.
The FreshCo on Big Rock Lane will open on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 8 a.m., the grocery chain announced.
The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
The FreshCo banner is owned by Sobeys and is the grocery store operator’s discount brand.
Sobeys Inc. also owns Safeway as well as several other names in the grocery industry.
Safeway operated at the Big Rock Lane location, but vacated the site last July once its new store was ready at D’Arcy Crossing.
The company held a virtual job fair last month to fill positions at the new store.
According to its website, FreshCo operates more than 125 stores across Western Canada and Ontario.
