Two teens have been arrested following a brazen daytime robbery of the Pharmasave in Heritage Pointe and RCMP are still searching for a third suspect.

Three men entered the pharmacy, located in the strip mall on Pine Creek Road, Oct. 20 at 10:47 a.m. They are alleged to have confined and threatened two workers and a customer and made off with an unknown amount of goods.

No one was injured during the robbery and the alleged thieves left in a gold four-door sedan.

Later that night Foothills County RCMP and the Calgary Police Service Tactical Unit, Calgary Police Service Robbery Unit, Southern Alberta District RCMP General Investigation Section (SAD GIS) and Okotoks RCMP GIS, executed a search warrant on a northeast Calgary home. During the search, officers seized items allegedly from the Heritage Pointe business, clothes and masks.

Two teens have been arrested and charged with a number of offences.

Gabriel Keeling, 18 of Calgary, has been charged with:

• Robbery

• Disguise with Intent

• Forcible Confinement x 3

• Mischief under $5000 x2

A 17-year youth has also been charged with:

The two accused robbers appeared in Cochrane Provincial Court Oct. 25. RCMP media relations officer Const. Cheri-Lee Smith said in custody matters must be dealt with as quickly as possible and that may be why the accused appeared in Cochrane for their first court appearance.
