Westwinds Communities is hosting a Drive-By Pie Fundraiser just in time for Easter.

Seniors are shown making pies – apple and strawberry-rhubarb – during last year’s Drive-By Pie Fundraiser.

Westwinds Communities is offering the community a sweet opportunity to support local seniors.

In its efforts to raise funds for a new bus, a Drive-By Pie Fundraiser is being held just in time for Easter.

Currently, Westwinds Communities has two buses that are shared between three lodges –– High Country Lodge in Diamond Valley, Medicine Tree Manor in High River and Sandstone Lodge in Okotoks.

One of the two buses is aging and requires more frequent repairs, impacting its reliability. To ensure safe, dependable transportation for outings and community events, Westwinds is fundraising for a new, more reliable bus.

This addition will enhance mobility, allowing seniors to stay engaged and connected with the community.

Homemade pies are available for pre-order with a minimum donation of $25 per pie. Choose from classic apple or strawberry rhubarb, with pick-up on April 16 and 17.

To place an order, contact your local lodge:
