More outdoor skating rinks open in Okotoks

More rinks are open in Okotoks after the skating trail at Lions Campground and the Suntree Park rink opened earlier this month.

Four more skating rinks are open in Okotoks, including the new boarded rink at St. John Paul II Collegiate. 

Recently-opened rinks are at Ardiel Park, Westridge Close Park, the Kinsmen Rink at the Okotoks Recreation Centre, and the new rink at St. John Paul II Collegiate. 

The skating trail at Lions Campground and the Suntree Park rink opened earlier this month. 

The boarded rink at St. John Paul II includes chain link fencing, lights, barrier free access and accessible viewing through clear boards. The site is owned by the Town and Christ The Redeemer Catholic Schools.

Seven other rinks in Okotoks remain closed, according the Town’s website
