A staple of the Christmas season in Okotoks, the Living Nativity will be presented at St. James Parish this weekend.
Featuring live actors, live music and live animals, the Living Nativity is a unique opportunity for people to experience the birth of Christ.
It will be presented outdoors on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church on 32 Street.
More than 100 people annually come together to recreate the little town of Bethlehem, complete with villagers and livestock, to tell the beautiful story of the birth of Jesus. The Christ Child is the central figure of the Living Nativity along with Mary and Joseph.
More than 1,100 people visited the Living Nativity last year.
