An employee of Christine’s No Frills in Okotoks has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement on the store’s Facebook page, the team member exhibited symptoms of a presumptive case of COVID-19 and the results came back positive on April 13.

The employee has not been in the store since April 11, when symptoms occurred.

No Frills states it is taking all precautions to ensure the safety of its customers and is working closely with local public health to follow proper procedures.

“We have a number of protocols in place at the store-level, including daily sanitization and social distancing practices to minimize the risk of exposure to our customers and team members,” the social media statement reads.

The store was closed immediately on April 13 for extensive cleaning and reopened the morning on April 14.
