The Selk family, of Okotoks, competed on Family Feud Canada in August. Their first episode is aired Sept. 26 and their second is set for Sept. 27.

An Okotoks family came out victorious on last night's Family Feud Canada ahead of their second run Tuesday night.

The Selk family, composed of Okotokians Kyla (Selk) Withers, Jordi, Adam, Lara and Airdronian Levi took home $10,000 after garnering 205 points in the fast-money round.

"It was such a nail biter, you could probably tell from our faces how stressed we were at the end," said Kyla.

"The excitement of winning was very high."

With their first win in the bag, the Selk's are returning to the screen tonight (Sept. 27) for another shot at the prize money.

Kyla said a family is able to win up to three times, for a total of $30,000. Though the results of this evening's episode are unknown, there is a chance one may see the Selk's again Wednesday night.

There was no shortage of laughs or camaraderie amongst the quintet as they covered a variety of questions and topics. The group battled against their Woodbridge, Ont. competition while making jokes and sharing stories with host Gerry Dee.

"We live for sports and any hint of competition is like a slice of sweet apple pie — we devour it," team captain Levi told Dee.

Watch the Selk's compete to add another $10,000 to their winnings and a chance for a third appearance tonight at 7:30 p.m. on CBC and CBC Gem.
