Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival Day 4 spotlight: Home Ground

Day 4 of the Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival features a flashy and flavourful beverage from Home Ground.

Day four of the Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival is underway.

Home Ground is taking part in the beloved festival, which has local businesses create their own unique hot chocolate drinks in a competition where people can vote to see who makes the best and most original drink.

Their entry into the contest is the "Tuxedo" hot chocolate, designed by Home Ground's manager Malek Abbas.

The drink is a mix of dark and white chocolate with toasted marshmallows, and its flashy toppings earn it the "Tuxedo" moniker.

Home Ground has been under new management since its former owner Samuel Ait sold the business in June last year, making this the café's first festival entry since then.

The Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary, runs until Feb. 17.

More information on the event, including a list of participating businesses and an interactive map, is available here.
