Okotoks' newest grocery store will be open early next year.
The FreshCo on Big Rock Lane is planned to open in late January, a company spokesperson told the Western Wheel.
The company’s logo is now on the front of the store and positions are being filled, with a virtual job fair taking place earlier this month, as the grocery store prepares to open its doors to shoppers.

Sobeys Inc. owns the FreshCo and Safeway brands, as well as several other names in the grocery industry.
Safeway operated at the Big Rock Lane location, but vacated the site in July once its new store was ready at D’Arcy Crossing.
According to its website, FreshCo operates more than 125 stores across Western Canada and Ontario.
