The Okotoks Spray Park is open for the season at an opportune time.
With a couple days of sunny weather above 20 C on Monday and Tuesday to start the week, the outdoor spray park located adjacent to the Okotoks Recreation Centre will be open to the public.
The park, which opened for the season on May 17, is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on days where the temperature is forecast by Environment Canada to be above 20 C. The park's opening is subject to inclement weather, with winds, smoke and lightning storms among the considerations.
Park attendees are encouraged to wear a hat, sunscreen, proper footwear and to bring an umbrella or sunshade. Pets, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and bicycles are not allowed in the outdoor park. Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
