Spring street sweeping continues in north end of town.
A Town of Okotoks street sweeper tidies up the road down to the Lion’ s Park Campground on Mar. 31.

Spring street sweeping continues in Okotoks with a parking ban in effect for more roadways on Monday, April 14.

The parking ban, which will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., is for the following streets:

• Crystal Shores Road from Banister Drive to 32nd Street

• Banister Drive from Milligan Drive to Crystal Shores Road

During the parking ban, all vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the road.  While bans are in effect, members of the public are encouraged to use alternative routes wherever possible to ensure road crews can work efficiently and safely.

All other services (waste collection, emergency responders, Canada Post delivery, etc.) will not be impacted in locations where parking bans have been declared.

The Town is reminding members of the public they may sweep any gravel off sidewalks and driveways onto the roadway prior to the arrival of the street sweeper. Residents are asked to remove ramps or other obstructions from the gutter in front of driveways.
