Rural customers can find copies of Western Wheel in boxes, retail locations

Canada Post strike will prevent delivery of Western Wheel to rural customers.

The delivery of this week’s edition of the Western Wheel to rural customers will be impacted by the Canada Post labour dispute.

With copies unable to be delivered due to the work stoppage, the Wheel will be putting extra papers in all boxes and retail locations in Okotoks, Diamond Valley, High River and Longview, so rural customers can pick up a copy.

Readers are also encouraged to stay up to date by regularly visiting westernwheel.ca where they will also find an e-edition of each week’s paper.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers went on strike last Friday after failing to reach an agreement with Canada Post. The two sides have been bargaining for the past year but remain far apart on several issues, including wages.

Delivery of the Wheel in Okotoks and Diamond Valley isn’t impacted by the Canada Post work stoppage.
