The best of the Foothills has been chosen for another year.
The results are in for the Western Wheel’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, which gave readers an opportunity to choose their favourites from a wide range of commercial and community categories.
Online voting took place from Aug. 14 to Sept. 1.
Some categories saw results go down to the wire while others boasted clear-cut winners.

Western Wheel publisher Shaun Jessome said 2024 was a successful year for the Readers’ Choice Awards as a number of new businesses were recognized.
"Readers' Choice is an opportunity for our readers to show how much they value those local businesses that provide them with outstanding service throughout the year,” Jessome said at the outset of the contest. “It’s one of the only ways for these businesses to get the recognition they deserve.”
He thanked Wheel readers for taking the time to nominate and vote for their favourite shops and services because the contest wouldn’t be possible without their participation.
