Registration for a wide range of winter recreation programs offered by the Town of Okotoks opens tomorrow morning (Thursday, Dec. 5) at 8 a.m.
Only residents of Okotoks and Foothills County will be permitted to register beginning tomorrow; non-residents must wait until Thursday, Dec. 12 at 8 a.m.
The 52-page Fall & Winter Programs Guide details a long list of programs for preschool, children and youth, adults and seniors.
The guide can be accessed at activeokotoks.ca or a copy can be picked up at the Okotoks Recreation Centre, Okotoks Municipal Centre or Okotoks Art Gallery.
For adults and seniors, there are a variety of fitness programs, including yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Tai Chi and pickleball.
For the younger set, there are skating and swimming lessons, badminton, babysitting courses and more.
Most programs begin in early January.
