GALLERY: NHL star headlines Okotoks youth street hockey tournament

The second annual Hockey Day in Canada youth tournament returned to Okotoks on April 5.

The community was joined by a Canadian hockey legend for a celebration of the sport in Okotoks over the weekend.

Okotoks Nissan's second annual Hockey Day in Canada youth street hockey tournament was hosted at the dealership on April 5, with former NHLer Kelly Hrudey joining Okotokians for the free event.

Hrudey, a longtime panel member on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada broadcast, played for the Los Angeles Kings, New York Islanders and San Jose Sharks during his NHL career from 1981 to 1998.
