Okotoks hosting a trio of baseball provincials this weekend

The Okotoks Dawgs Academy is hosting the 15U AAA Tier II and Tier I provincials over the next two weekends.

Provincial baseball is set to take off on three fronts in Okotoks this weekend.

The Baseball Alberta Provincial Championships swing into the community with three competitions being held across Okotoks.

The Okotoks Dawgs Red host the U15 AAA Tier II championships from July 26-28 at Conrad Field.

The three-day competition features the Dawgs, Webber Wildcats, Calgary Bucks, St. Albert Cardinals, Lethbridge Bulls, Calgary Cardinals, Calgary Cubs and Fort McMurray Oil Giants. 

Across the road at Bill Robertson Park, the Okotoks Outlaws welcome the best in the province in the U15 AA Tier 7 ranks from July 26-28.

Okotoks is up against the Calgary City Royals, Clive Coyotes, Stettler Storm and Parkland Twins in the six-team competition.

Over at the Wylie Athletic Park, the Okotoks Outlaws host the U13 AA Tier 9 provincials from July 26-28 at Diamond #10.

The four-team tournament features the Outlaws along with the Edmonton Padres, Blackfalds Pirates and Lloydminster Twins. 

The action continues during the first weekend of August when the Okotoks Dawgs Black hold the 15U AAA Tier provincials.
