Born August 24, 1933, in Den Haag, Netherlands, Bert Ruitenschild passed away on July 5, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
It was Bert’s expressed wish that a funeral be not held in his honour. The family held a private graveside interment on Monday, July 15, 2024, where he was laid to rest alongside his wife, Janneke.
An open memorial reception was then held at Lyle Reeves Funerals Atrium in High River, Alberta.
