October 13, 1950 - January 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness
that we announce the passing of Robert
Richard Frederick Grant on Sunday, January
12, 2025, at the age of 74 years.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Freda
and Robert, as well as his sisters, Darlene
and Debbie. He is survived by his loving
wife Debbie and sons, Shane (Kim) and
Cody (Michelle). Bob leaves behind his four
beautiful grandchildren, Kaden, Kipton,
Blake, and Reid.

To know Bob was to know the true meaning
of hard work. Born and raised in Calgary, AB,
he left home at a young age with hopes and
determination for a successful life. Over the
years, Bob was able to establish multiple
business endeavours to give himself, and his
family, just that.

He never quit until the vision he had was
fulfilled. Bob was very proud of the life he
lived, the opportunities he worked hard to
achieve, and the legacy that he will leave
behind. His family is equally proud and
thankful.

Bob was the ultimate storyteller. From
tales of hopping trains to sleeping under
the stars, he lived a life full of adventure.
Family and friends always loved to listen
to him embellish these stories. He enjoyed
many hobbies throughout his life including
horse racing, rodeos, outfitting, hunting, and
hockey though nothing brought him more joy
than watching his grandchildren grow up.

The family would like to extend a huge thank
you to both OkoCare and Dr. Lauren Robinson
for their compassion and hard work to keep
Bob at home where he was comfortable.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis
& Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 –
40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on
Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m

Condolences, memories, and photos may be
shared and viewed with Robert’s family at

will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross
Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway
