Dear Editor,

On Thursday morning I had a concerning experience that I want to share to keep everyone safe.

A man came to my door, holding a box of kitty litter that I receive from a subscription service. He insisted I open the door so he could bring it inside. I refused and told him to leave it on the porch.

After he left, I noticed he did not have a delivery vehicle, and walked away on foot. His behaviour seemed suspicious, and I believe he may have had ulterior motives.

I reported the incident to the police and provided a description: he is approximately 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with olive skin, wearing black glasses and dark clothing, along with a reflective vest.

I posted a warning on Facebook to let my friends know to stay safe and I received a text from my friend saying the same thing happened to her.
