Patrick Kerrison has owned and operated Rim 2 Rim Tire for 31 years. Since 1992 the shop has continued to offer a growing list of services and brand name tires. Recently Rim 2 Rim has branched out into mechanical work offering alignments, brake installation/repair and steering/suspension work for our clients.
The journey from initial business opening to this newest mechanical service expansion, began when Kerrison was very young.
“I had just finished school and needed a job,” he reminisces. “I always had a strong interest in cars and trucks. “I began learning as much as possible about tire brands, manufacturing, ratings and a host of other information necessary to be in the tire/ automotive industry and found my niche.”
Our equipment is state of the art and continually upgraded as enhancements become available both with our Tire Machines and Force Laser Balancers. With the opening of the mechanical side, we have installed the newest 3D Alignment technology, as well as 12, 14 and 20 thousand lb hydraulic lifts for servicing passenger and light truck vehicles.
“We are proud to service all makes and models,” says Kerrison. “We provide our clients with the highest quality products at the lowest prices, thanks to our purchasing relationships with suppliers and our depth of experience in the trade. We are known for our attention to detail and dedication to high quality service.” Our tire services include mounting/dismounting, balancing/rotations, TPMS, studding, Nitrogen service and much more.
Kerrison continues, “We hire experienced, well-rounded, career-minded team members. Our lead mechanic, Lou, brings 40+ years of in-depth experience to our team. He is a natural fit here. Every member of our team is dedicated to keeping clients safe on the road. We know it can be a bad day when you get a flat tire or brakes start squealing. You need someone to help – we are here. We take great pride in offering our experience and honest advice and customers can rely on us to keep their cars on the road longer. We are all car and truck lovers here and therefore enthusiastic about our jobs.”
Rim 2 Rim Tire is well known for its work as well as for community involvement. The company is proud to have supported the local food bank, amateur sports and amateur rodeo.
“The local business community works together and supports each other very well,” says Kerrison. “Our clients have supported us for 31 years. It has been wonderful, growing in a community where we get a lot of referrals from long-time clients.”
He says a big thank you to, “all our clients some of whom now bring in their children or grandchildren. I also thank our team here at Rim 2 Rim Tire. They are unbelievable! A very dedicated group, each with decades of experience.”
Rim 2 Rim Tire has earned six consecutive gold Readers’ Choice awards for best tire shop in the Foothills. Last year they added another win in the mechanical division and Kerrison counts positive client reviews and referrals as the highest honour.
As the town grows, Kerrison and his team look forward to helping new and existing clients with their vehicles’ tire and mechanical needs now and into the future.
