Bundle up Okotoks, it’s going to be a chilly weekend

Below seasonal temperatures and flurries are in the forecast for the last weekend of March in the Foothills.

The last weekend of March is going to be a chilly one, Okotoks. 

Environment Canada’s forecast for Friday calls for a high of 2C with a 30 per cent chance of flurries, which increases to 60 per cent on Friday night. 

Saturday’s high is only expected to reach –2C with a chance of flurries at night, while Sunday’s high gets up to 2C under a mix of sun and cloud. 

Temperatures begin to moderate next week with a high of 6C on Monday and 9C on Tuesday. 

Environment Canada says the average daytime high at this time of year is 5C.
