Kehoe launched Blooming Cupcakes in July of 2022.
“I had some extra time,” the home baker explains. “My kids had gotten older. I thought, why not try this? I have always been a baker but mostly for my family and kids to have something for their snacks. Then I started doing small cakes for my kids for their birthdays.”
Kehoe has a business degree and always wanted to launch her own business. She saw some cute cupcake bouquets on the internet and thought, “I could do that.”
“I had all the supplies,” she continues. “Then things ramped up so quickly! People were very receptive right off the bat. I think it is because it is something different and unique. It’s been very exciting. A bit of a learning curve, but I am enjoying it.”
