Chucks, chariots and bulls are roaring into the Foothills this weekend.
The Millarville Chuckwagons, Chariots & Bulls Under the Lights 2024 runs Sept. 6-8 at the Millarville Racetrack, featuring the Alberta Professional Chuckwagon and Chariot Association (APCCA) Finals and Bull Riders Canada’s Bulls Under the Lights.
The weekend slate sees the chuckwagons and chariots racing on Friday at 5 p.m., the Saturday show kicks off at 4 p.m. with more racing, along with the Indian Relay Races and trick riding performances. At 7 p.m., the bull riding under the lights take to the infield.
The weekend concludes with the chuckwagon and chariot finals at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Proceeds from the event will help benefit three local charities this year in the Oilfields Food Bank, Heaven Can Wait and 4H clubs in the Millarville area.
