Back for its second year, Diamond Valley’s Snow Angels program supports residents who need assistance with snow clearing.
The program encourages community members to lend a hand to neighbours who may find it challenging to keep their walkways clear during winter weather.
Residents unable to manage snow clearing due to health or mobility concerns (and without anyone else in the household who can assist) are eligible to sign up for the program.
They can register to get a Snow Angels sign to be put in the yard or window to indicate that assistance is needed. Register for a sign at the Town office or online at DiamondValley.town/SnowAngels.
When neighbours see a sign, they can become a Snow Angel by clearing sidewalks and walkways of ice and snow.
There’s no need to sign up to help, simply keep an eye out for those who could use some assistance this winter.
