The final Millarville Farmers' Market of the 2024 season takes place this weekend.
The market concludes its 42nd year this Saturday (Oct. 12) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Millarville Racetrack grounds.
The market, which features 180-plus vendors, has run every Saturday since mid-June.
As an Alberta Farmers' Market Association accredited market, over 80 per cent of vendors are local, meaning the people behind the tables are the growers, farmers, makers, bakers and artists.
Entry fee is by donation.
Although the Millarville Farmers' Market is wrapping up its season, the Millarvile Christmas Market is set for Nov. 7 to 10 and 14 to 17. With over 300 vendors, tickets for that market are $7.50.
