Millarville Community School holds biannual Colour Run to close month of physical activity.

Community spirit was on colourful display in Millarville last Friday.

The Millarville Community School fundraising committee held its biannual Walkathon Colour Run on May 31.

The event had students raise pledges for personal physical activity goals during the month which were then celebrated with a Colour Run to end May.

The 5k run saw students meander through the community with two colour stations manned by parent volunteers gleefully offering to spray the children with colour, made from corn starch, before they reached the finish line at the Millarville Community School.

The fundraising committee plans fundraising events for everything from school programming, athletics materials, field trips, in-school programs and special events.
