The annual Heritage Inn International Balloon Festival returned to High River for its 12th year, with the beloved Balloon Glow coming to Wallaceville on Sept. 27.
During the glow, pilots inflated their balloons and invited visitors to get up close.
Activities at this year's glow also included a walk-in balloon, DJ and dancers, and food trucks along Centre Street.
The Balloon Glow is just one part of the festival. Weather permitting, pilots fly from a launch site as many as two times per day.
The next flight is 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 28, and the final chance to fly is in the morning on Sept. 29.
