Two men have been arrested following a reported home invasion in Vulcan.

Brandon Bates, of Vulcan, and Mike Taylor, of Calgary, have been charged with break and enter to a residence, assault with a weapon and uttering threats after Vulcan RCMP responded to reports of a possible home invasion in the town on Nov. 20.

As detailed in a Dec. 3 press release from the Alberta RCMP, officers attended and the assailants fled the scene with the victim sustaining minor injuries. Following an investigation the two suspects were arrested.

The release states it was an isolated incident and the persons involved were known to each other.

Bates, 26, and Taylor, 35, will appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Lethbridge on Dec. 12.
