The third annual Alberta High School of Fine Arts Sweet Showcase was held on Thursday, Oct. 24, with musical performances, art displays and more in support of arts programs.

The school's vocal ensemble and concert band performed at the start of the event, followed by a sneak peek of the school's musical production of Mamma Mia, which is set to run from Dec. 10 to 14.

Cakes and a live painting by art teacher Shauna Kelly were up for auction during the event, with funds raised supporting the Alberta High School of Fine Arts Society and its various initiatives, including providing scholarships and bursaries for young artists.
