GALLERY: Thousands welcomed downtown for Light Up Okotoks

Okotoks was lit up with holiday spirit for the town's iconic wintertime festival on Nov. 22.

Okotoks' favourite event, described by attendees as being reminiscent of a Hallmark movie, ushered in the holiday season on Nov. 22.

The iconic event welcomed thousands to Olde Towne Okotoks for an assortment of activities, including wagon rides, stage entertainment, fireworks, a meet-and-greet with Calgary Flames players and much more.

The Sheep River Health Trust ‘Flip the Switch’ raffle was won by Trent and David Brown, 10 and 8 respectively, who had the honour of lighting the Christmas tree in front of a massive crowd of festival-goers.
