The Travelling Mabels to close out On the Edge season

Award-winning folk-country group from the Foothills to put a bow on concert series at Red Deer Lake United Church.

The On the Edge concert series will close out its 2024-2025 season with a performance by the Travelling Mabels, one of the Foothills’ favourite bands. 

The concert is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Red Deer Lake United Church. 

Eva Levesque, Keith Floen, Lana Floen and Therry Lawson make up the Mabels, who offer a mixture of vocals, guitar, bass and percussion. 

Possessing a unique brand of harmony, humour and musicianship, the award-winning folk-country group has collectively written and recorded four CDs. 

For the past 17 years, the band has performed from coast to coast at venues big and small, and alongside such notable artists as Ian Tyson and Tom Jackson.
