Witches were on the water just in time for spooky season.
Participants practiced their witchcraft and brought their watercraft to the Crystal Shores Beach House for the first annual Witches Paddle on Oct. 19.
"It turned out to be a great day. The weather held out, and with just four days to organize, it was a success," said organizer Tamara Royal.
"Only one fell in trying to catch her hat. She saved her hat but lost her phone to the lake bottom."
Okotoks Food Bank donations were collected during the event.
"It’s not only a celebration of the season, but also a tribute to the community," said Royal.
